<p>Founded in 1882, the Knights of Columbus is a fraternal society guided by three principles: charity, unity, and fraternity.&nbsp; For more than 100 years, the Salem Knights of Columbus Veragua Council No. 76 has&nbsp;inhabited the historic Nathaniel Silsbee House overlooking Salem Common.&nbsp; Silsbee was a sea captain, ship master and eventual U.S. Senator.&nbsp; The Knights of Columbus is a charitable organization that contributes to the community through volunteering and fundraising.&nbsp; In addition, the Salem hall features three function rooms available for rent: a ballroom that accommodates 300, the second-floor Captain's Loft which fits 50, and the lower-level Chart Room which has room for 80.&nbsp; For more information, visit the website or email <a href=""></a>.</p>
