Top Rating +++.Bosch dishwasher motor failure. Not everyone works on Bosch, so I ended up calling Sears Appliance Repair. I was worried I might pay a premium for a 'brand name' repair company like Sears. If I could give 7 Stars I would....and I am the nervous suspicious type when it comes to in-home service.So the suspicious side of me told me to check for all special clauses on the Sear Appliance Repair website. I found a few things - so I started an on-line chat (which was only my 2nd time to do so in life @ 63 yrs old). Got all my questions answered and even got a 20% coupon off my repair. So I set up service call on line.Repair person arrived and diagnosed. Wrote a full estimate for the repair, then I showed coupon and he chopped 20% from my estimate...end of story. He did not have the part on his truck, so we set up an appointment. The washer motor was actually sent by UPS to my house..A different repair person came out to replace. Verified it was in fact failed motor. Now, I was extra nervous because we had new hardwood floors in the kitchen....repair person had floor protector, pulled the dishwasher out gently. Made the repair and gently returned washer into its place. All in 45 minutes.Sorry for such a long report - I guess everyone has good and bad experiences with in-home appliance repair, so I wanted to take the extra time to say mine was beyond expectations from starting the process on-line to final repair to a smile at home now that our Bosch is back to normal.A big thank you to the 2 repair people for their integrity, skill and professionalism....and, the on-line person for starting things off on positive footing.

Very dissatisfied the 1st serviceman indicated the our vent needed to be cleaned out and we didn't have a elbow on the vent exit. So we scheduled a vent cleaning through the serviceman and ordered the elbow. When the vent guys game out they immediately agreed that this was bogus but did clean the vent and attached the elbow but due to lack of space it really wasn't needed. Now there was some lint trapped in the vent but now that it's clean we still have the same issue, insufficient heat. I am at a lost. I have been waiting and thinking what is my next step. Tomorrow I will call Sears again. We bought our washing and dryer from Sears because of the quality and service, I don't know if that true anymore.
Frankly I have no complaints. The scheduling was immediate. The repairman was fantastic and everything went really well as always. I love Sears.
