The beach in Knäbäckshusen closed in 2024 During the storm Babet on 20–21 October 2023, the beach in Knäbäckshusen suffered extensive damage. A large part of the beach was washed away, trees fell, and both the slope and the stairs collapsed. The slope is still unstable, which means that we cannot rebuild the stairs before the summer and there is still a high risk of extensive landslides. We ask citizens and visitors not to step on the slope so that nature has the opportunity to recover. The chapel is also closed. Beautiful, exotic beach, popular in the summer, but also all year round. Located between Vik and Stenshuvud. A collection of beautiful old half-timbered houses that were moved from the old Knaback, current Ravlunda Shooting range, in the late 1950's. In one of the fish stalls, the sea wall, housed a chapel, St Nicholas chapel.
