Since 1966, the A. G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club has been helping children from tough neighborhoods in the Birmingham area stay out of trouble, remain in school and succeed in life. We provide two locations with nurturing, safe environments where children can spend time after school and during the summer. Our Club Members are special! Each day, they come to learn new skills, receive extra help with their homework, develop social skills, express themselves creatively through music and the arts, and participate in sports. The A.G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club has operated as a 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) nonprofit organization since 1966. It is part of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, a nationwide affiliation of some 3, 700 clubs with a similar core mission. Our administrative offices are located at the South Park Club on the west side of Birmingham, which serves as a hub for expanded seasonal sports activities, aquatics, art and computer training.
