Mr. Cooper holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from Auburn University and has 27 years of experience in structural engineering and the construction industry. Professional memberships include the Structural Engineers Association of Alabama (SEAoAL), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), American Concrete Institute (ACI), American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), Alabama Society of Professional Engineers (ASPE), Post Tensioning Institute (PTI), Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) and the Light Gage Steel Engineers Association (LGSEA). David is a Past President of the Montgomery, Alabama Branch of ASCE, a charter member of the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) of ASCE and a board member and Past President and current Secretary/Treasurer of the Structural Engineers Association of Alabama.
