I advocate time-tested financial principles including prudent and responsible debt management, disciplined saving and investing and a thoughtful insurance strategy for managing financial risk. Michelle Surita joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in January 2024. As a military spouse, she understands the unique situations and circumstances that place pressure on military families and is committed to helping them discover the confidence and peace of mind that come from financial security. Michelle has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Polk State College and a Master’s degree in Management and Leadership from Purdue Global University. She holds Series 6, 63, 65 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Alabama, Alaska, and Florida. Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Michelle serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. Her thorough knowledge of military pay and benefits enables her to advise clients on how to navigate the Blended Retirement System, properly allocate their contributions to the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) and take full advantage of other benefits. Michelle will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals.
