West End Elementary School

West End Elementary is a learning center that provides a variety of general academic programs to students in kindergarten through grade six. Established in 1966, the school offers accelerated reader and reading recovery programs. It conducts special education classes for students with special needs. The school also supports activities, such as physical education, as well as provides early childhood education programs. West End Elementary features a computer laboratory, library and media center. The school conducts fundraising events and offers online educational resources. In addition, it provides a range of student support services that includes meals, guidance counseling transportation and medical care. West End Elementary is governed by Etowah County Schools.
