Founded in 1953, Mae Eanes Middle School provides a range of educational programs to more than 700 students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes math, language arts, social studies, science, reading, and business and physical education. The school additionally offers special education classes for students with learning disabilities. It provides instructive sessions related to band, chorus, business technology and computer applications. The school operates a library that offers a variety of educational and learning materials.
