Stopped in while our ship was docked. Cool spot. Plenty of space with an upstairs area and outside seating. Some dart machines. Food is supplied by a food truck and the halibut bites were solid....

The Asylum Bar is located downtown on Water St across from berth 3, with a full bar and drinks specials, we offer 30 beers on tap-the largest selection of locally brewed draft beers in Alaska all at $3.50 a pint (Ketchikan, Juneau, Anchorage)also a great list of quality wines. Non-alcohol and gluten free beers. We offer a full menu from the Burger Queen, local fresh halibut, fresh bake chicken, charcoal burgers(one of the favorite is the Seattle Burger and for those one like it hot try the Siracha Bacon Burger), Veggie burgers( real vegetables) fresh salads and chili, onion rings, fries, hot wings, chicken strips, and a kids menu, Monday night BBQ, Beer garden, two floors with an outside deck with a view of the Narrows and Mountains. We are family friendly, with Pool table, Dart board, gold tee, and foosball. live music and dancing on the weekends. Come and send some time with the locals, talk with them and listen to they fishing stories and the real history of Ketchikan.
