Chaparral High School

Located in Scottsdale, Ariz., Chaparral High School offers a curriculum for students in grades nine through 12. The school was established in 1973 and is affiliated with the Scottsdale Unified School District. The various subjects offered include English, mathematics, science, social studies, fine and performing arts, career and technical education and health and physical education. It also offers various elective subjects, such as business and computer technology, foreign language, industrial technology and family and consumer sciences. It also provides various organization and clubs, including art, bowling, calculus, fashion, film, journalism and the Asian American club, protective animal welfare club, classic film society, student government and the National Honor Society. Chaparral High School also offers a variety of athletics activities that include baseball, basketball, football, volleyball, soccer, softball, badminton, wrestling, tennis, golf, swimming, cross country and track and field.
