My approach emphasizes not only treating cardiovascular conditions but also empowering patients through education and preventative strategies that support long-term heart health. For me, being part of someone's care team is an honor, and I approach it with both compassion and dedication every day.

With over 30 years of experience mentoring residents and fellows, I am deeply committed to the teaching process and passionate about shaping the future of medicine. My approach to healthcare is uniquely patient-centered, combining the latest innovations in cardiovascular medicine—including catheter-based interventions and minimally invasive techniques—with a strong foundation of compassion, respect, and ethical care.

My personal approach to taking care of patients is to try to treat them the same whether a weekend warrior or a professional athlete. Although I am an Orthopedic surgeon, my passion is rather than treat injuries is to develop educational and outreach programs to help prevent injuries in young athletes.
