History

I started lulliloo photography in 2008 and for the first several years of my business I focused on family and childrens photography, rarely doing any newborn work. Occasionally I would photograph a newborn and experience a moment that reflected back to me that there was an area of magic that I was missing out on. My passion for birth and newborn photography emerged around the time I became a mama...after experiencing the anticipation of waiting for a baby, I was surprised by how indescribable the joy of welcoming a baby into our family was. Babies change so much, add so much, and while I knew that I was going to love her, I had no idea how much more I was going to love life as a result of her. Capturing the significance of each little bit and milestone is foundational to my work, and it's my desire to ensure that your baby's unique preciousness is well documented. I'm Mel...I'm a mom, a baby enthusiast, and a newborn photographer.

Specialties

Lulliloo Photography specializes in on-location birth, newborn and maternity photography. Sessions utilize natural light and my arsenal of props (think traveling studio ;)
