Operational since 1955, Hilmar High School is a learning center that provides academic instructions to students in grades 9 through 12. It offers an accelerated reader program that is used to monitor and guide reading practices and help students in improving reading abilities. The school provides educational classes in fine arts, social studies, math, physical education, science and English. It organizes baseball, basketball, football, golf, soccer, wrestling, cheerleading, softball, and track and field. Hilmar High School offers opportunities to participate in various student organizations, including the Future Business Leaders of America, Future Farmers of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Foreign Language Club. It is located in Hilmar, Calif. Hilmar High School is governed by the Hilmar Unified School District, which was founded in 1903 and operates through maintenance, transportation, special services and technology departments.
