About Prosthetic Solutions Prosthetic Solutions Inc was founded in 2001 by Wade Skardoutos, an ABC/BOC Certified Prosthetist ( CP ), in Hollister and Mountain View, CA. The family tradition of Prosthetic Care was handed down to Wade by his grandfather, Wade T. Hampton, and Mr. Skardoutos' passion for helping amputees spurred him to continue on with his grandfather's tradition by opening a family prosthetics business. As a result, Wade started Prosthetic Solutions, a medical facility with certified prosthetists ( according to the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics, Inc ) that measures, designs, fabricates, fits or services prosthetics as prescribed by a licensed physician, as well as assisting in the formulation of the prosthesis prescription for the replacement of external parts of the human body lost due to amputation or congenital deformities or absences. Company Goal Prosthetic Solutions' goal is to improve the lives of amputees by giving them the chance to participate in an active life style with a state of the art prosthesis. We strive for the highest standard of patient care by providing a team approach to their rehabilitation. We believe that the more involved the patient's doctor, physical therapist and family become, the more successful the person becomes.
