I as a teen use to visit Liberty Coin in Long Beach Ca so I was pleased that they were taking over a previously long standing Coin store in Fountain Ca. AND still maintaining their Long Beach site. It was quite the transition which took time to develop. I like the coin selection as far as investment coins are concerned. They have nice bullion coins, etc as well. Also supplies including current "Redbooks".I miss the coin bid boards from the previous owners and comfortable seating. THE people who work there are professional with smiles but limit their conversation it seems. I wish they had more foreign coins for the beginning collectors and perhaps a couple of the old fashioned "junk" coin wooden boxes to go through. The store looks a little too sterile and could use a few decorations to liven it up, maybe even some soft music playing in their background.Wheeling and dealing does not work well here. Prices seem to be fair but no bargains unless you want to so the "hold" game. I use to be a dealer and even buying in quantity they budge very littlethat it is not worth my time to try again at anything ovee 10%. Over all there if you want nice high quality coins you will find them. How about a weekly bargain though to bring more people to open their wallets and purses? They also have online sales. If you call you may get either store so be specific as to which store.
