Lifetime Television offers entertainment and information programming and advocates a wide variety of issues affecting women and their families. Lifetime serves more 85 million households nationwide and is available on more than 11,000 cable systems and alternative delivery systems. Lifetime Television was created by the merger of Daytime Television and the Cable Health Network. It also maintains partnerships with more than 150 nonprofit organizations, including Stop Violence Against Women, Caring for Kids and Stop Breast Cancer for Life. Lifetime Television has also launched a 24-hour sister service, the Lifetime Movie Network, and the Lifetime Real Women network, which provides 24-hour true-to-life programming told from a woman s point of view. Established in 1984, Lifetime Television has offices in Los Angeles.
