Praised as an architectural landmark, the Walt Disney Concert Hall sits proudly in the center of Los Angeles. The massive venue, which seats 2,265 people, is home to the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Los Angeles Master Chorale, and it also hosts an array of artists looking to perform under its celebrated acoustics.

Parking and public transportation at the Walt Disney Concert Hall
There is underground parking below the Walt Disney Concert Hall at $9 per car, cash only. There is also valet parking at its Hope St. entrance at $23. Public parking is available across the street between Grand Ave. and Olive St. on First St.

The Red Line Civic Center Metro stops two blocks away from the Hall at the southwest corner of First and Hill. There are also multiple bus stops around the venue. You can plan your trip by train or bus at socaltransport.org

Types of concerts at the Walt Disney Concert Hall
You can look forward to classical music concerts by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, recitals by the Los Angeles Master Chorale, and solo concerts by artists of the likes of Esperanza Spalding and Michael McDonald.

Other places to visit near the Walt Disney Concert Hall
The Music Center, which includes the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and the Ahmanson Theatre, is located just across the street from the Hall at First and Grand. Just a little further you will find Grand Park, where you can take a stroll, have a cup of coffee, and enjoy the sights of beautiful fountains, sculptures, and the Los Angeles City Hall.

Where to stay near the Walt Disney Concert Hall
Some of downtown L.A.'s most renowned hotels (Omni, Westin Bonaventure, The Standard, for example) are just blocks away from the Hall. Less pricey options could be found just a few miles away from downtown; Chinatown could be an option.

Insider tip for visitors to the Walt Disney Concert Hall
Concert seats can often be purchased for as little as $20. These may be located high above the stage, but there is no bad seat in the house. You will enjoy a most amazing sound from wherever you sit.

Allow some time either before or after the concert to wander the Hall's peaceful "aerial walkway." It's full of greenery, sculptures, and beautiful views of L.A.'s skyscrapers.
