Located in Moreno Valley, Calif., March Mountain High School provides individualized and group instruction to more than 700 students in grades 9 through 12. It is an alternative school that is designed for students from 14 to 18 years who are academically challenged, credit-deficient and have attendance problems. The school offers special education, resource specialist and transitional language programs. Its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as English, mathematics, history, science, health education and foreign languages. The school conducts curriculum-improvement training programs for professional development of its staff members. Its campus was opened in 1959 and includes a gymnasium, locker room, library, administration building and more than 50 classrooms. It is a part of the Moreno Valley Unified School District.
