Founded in 1965, Shasta Head Start Child Development is a nonprofit agency that provides child care and social services to income-eligible children and their families. The agency offers opportunities for education, parenting support and resources to families in its communities. It oversees a professional staff of more than 200 employees. Shasta Head Start Child Development administers Head Start and Early Head Start programs.
