<p>Mpress Digital is almost hidden within a industrial warehouse, but once you step inside the print shop its colorful and stylish decor has the feel of a retail store. This longtime Santa Cruz shop fulfills a full range of printing needs, including fliers, brochures, postcards, business cards, data sheets, sell sheets, newsletters and more. It generally provides proofs within two hours and printing within 24 hours. The owner and founder, Lee May, has a BS degree in renewable natural resources, so from the start he set up the print shop as a green business. Mpress is part of the Monterey Bay Area Green Business Program and an environmental ethic determines everything from how floors are cleaned and what type of lightbulbs are used to the practice of reducing waste by printing only what is needed. It also takes an active part in the local community, helping out nonprofits.</p>
