Scope Industries was incorporated in 1938. The company and its subsidiaries have organized its business into principally two business segments, waste material recycling and beauty schools. In the waste material recycling segment, the company operates plants for the collection and processing of bakery waste materials into a food supplement for animals. It operates nearly 15 manufacturing facilities throughout the United States under the names of Dext Company, International Processing Corporation, Recycle to Conserve and ReConserve.
