City of Fremont Youth & Family Services

Youth and Family Services is a division of the Human Services Department, which is a city department that operates under the government of Fremont, Calif. The department provides crisis management, counseling and medical care services. It also offers referral, assessment, transportation and volunteering services. The Human Services Department organizes workshops on topics, such as discipline, parent-child relationship improvement and conflict reduction. The department operates the Fremont Family Resource Center (FRC), which provides mental health care, case management and employment-related services. In addition, it administers the Meals on Wheels program, which includes home-delivered meal services. The Human Services Department provides respite care and family support services. The department additionally offers adult day care, legal assistance and money management services to senior citizens.
