Established in 1936, Egremont Schools offers learning opportunities to students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. Its parent-teacher organization supports a variety of cultural and educational activities through fundraising activities. Egremont Schools offers before- and after-school care programs for children. In addition to homework assistance, it also provides several enrichment activities that include The Mad Scientist, karate, piano, chess and cheerleading. Egremont Schools offers various athletic activities, such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, and track and field. It publishes a newsletter each month that carries fun facts, upcoming events and interesting articles. Egremont Schools is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and is located in Chatsworth, Calif.
