After moving to Janesville in 1980, The Woodsmith expanded the business to include tool and hardware sales in 1992. With the support of the community, The Woodsmith obtained building permits in 2008 and construction began on May 12th. The new complex aims to provide local shopping opportunities and a small town atmosphere, while also contributing to the growth of the town's economy.
