Jan's was established in 1972 in George's Surf Shop, Jan Gaffney's sandwiches and smoothies became ritual to the surf community and Huntington Beach residents. As a Sophmore at Huntington Beach High School, Poppy found her very first job at Jan's over 20 years later, she purchased the Huntington Beach institution and is dedicated to carrying on the rich tradition of nourishing the cravings of generations living in the local community or passing through.
