Joseph Alvarnas, M.D. | Hematologist-Oncologist

Tanya Barauskas Dorff, M.D. is a medical oncologist for City of Hope Duarte, professor in the Department of Medical Oncology & Therapeutics Research and section chief of the Genitourinary Disease Program. She is an internationally recognized leader in prostate cancer, and is renowned for her work in other genitourinary tumor types, including kidney, bladder and penile cancer. Dr. Dorff has assumed control of one of the largest clinical trial portfolios in genitourinary cancers, and treats patients with all types of genitourinary cancers, including testicular and penile cancer. Dr. Dorff is fluent in English, Spanish and Lithuanian.

Leo David Wang, M.D., Ph.D., is a pediatric hematologist-oncologist and associate professor in the departments of Immuno-Oncology and Pediatrics.

Gagandeep Brar, M.D. is a medical oncologist for City of Hope Duarte and an assistant professor in the Department of Medical Oncology & Therapeutics Research. Dr. Brar is an experienced cancer doctor with expertise treating a broad range of cancers including bile duct, colorectal, gallbladder, liver, pancreatic, small intestine and stomach cancer and gastrointestinal carcinoid and liver tumors. "We need to remember that building sincere and genuine patient-doctor relationships is just as important as treating illness," Dr. Brar says. She is a native Californian fluent in English and Punjabi.
