HistoryThe Saturday Center was created in 1982 by Doctors Judith Davenport, Judith Sherven, and Judith Swerling. They were soon joined by a number of other professionals who provided both office space and supervision to the Center's therapists. Throughout its history, the Center has been staffed by psychological interns, psychological assistants and marriage & family therapist interns who are supervised by a group of experienced, licensed private practitioners dedicated to the practice and teaching of psychotherapy. In 1987, under the Directorship of Bruce Brodie, Ph.D., the Center became a psychological corporation. Donald J. Seldeen, Ph.D., brought the Center to its current location in 1994.
