Loomis (formerly, Pine, Pino, Smithville, and Placer) is an incorporated town in Placer County, California, United States. It is part of the Sacramento–Arden-Arcade–Roseville Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 6,430 at the 2010 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 7.3 square miles (19 km2), all of it land. Stream drainages are Antelope Creek and Secret Ravine.
