HistoryI started this day care back in 2005, nearly 13 years ago. Before starting it, I left my job as a pre school teacher because I wanted to take a break in order to spend more time with my own two little kids. Soon after, parents from the pre school I worked at wanted me to babysit their kids and so from there I got my child care license and opened up Little Star Family Day Care. Everyday is a new day for me and my assistant, Elia, as the children we care for mature from little infants to toddlers, soon moving out to go to pre school and beyond. We feel its necessary to implement a strong foundation for them at a young age by going the extra mile when caring for them. We give age appropriate activities in the morning such as coloring pages or singing nursery rhymes as a group. We take the children outside to play in the backyard, sometimes even walking with them to play in the nearby park. We offer our children home cooked nutritious meals, slowly transitioning to all organic.SpecialtiesWe are a loving child care that cares for each child equally.
