Founded in 1962, Motel 6 is one of the largest hotel chains in North America. The hotel offers an array of amenities, such as local/long distance phone calls, morning coffee, data ports, Wi-Fi Internet access and cable channel line-up with channels, including HBO, ESPN/ESPN2 and CNN. Most locations maintain a swimming pool and offer guest laundry facilities. With one of its hotels located in Stanton, Calif., Motel 6 operates more than 1,000 outlets across the United States and Canada. It is a part of the Accor family, one of the largest hotel operators in the world with nearly 4,100 hotels in 90 countries.
