The Morro Bay Fire Department has been dedicated to serving its diverse waterfront community since 1932, responding to approximately 2,200 incidents annually. The department employs a range of personnel, including a Fire Chief, 13 career firefighters, an administrative technician, a Fire Marshal, and seasonal firefighters, all committed to emergency planning and response.
