Robert Sanders Elementary School

Located in San Jose, Calif., Robert Sanders Elementary School is a Title I school that provides educational classes to more than 490 students in kindergarten through third grade. It is a part of the Mount Pleasant Elementary School District, which has a total enrollment of over 2,900 students. Robert Sanders Elementary School supports an after-school gifted and talented education program. The school maintains the English Learner Advisory Council (ELAC), GATE Advisory Council, school site council and parent-teacher association. It employs a staff of nearly 45 full-time, certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes classroom teachers, library aides, technology coordinators and teaching assistants. Robert Sanders Elementary School also has a team of psychologists, resource specialists, speech pathologists and occupational therapists.
