Riverview Middle School supports the academic and social needs of young adolescents. Its curriculum includes various subjects, such as language arts, science, social studies, reading and math. The school also offers courses in Spanish and French. Established in 1956, Riverview Middle School occupies an area of more than 115,000 square feet. Its facilities feature a library, technology center, gymnasium, computer laboratory and more than 40 classrooms. The school also encourages parental involvement in campus activities and organizes talent shows, musical concerts, family nights and parent workshops. It additionally offers a range of on- and off-site developmental workshops and conferences for staff members. Riverview Middle School has an enrollment of more than 900 students in grades six through eights and is located in Bay Point, Calif.
