Intermountain Color is a cold web printer, printing journal, tabloid, magazine and digest sized products. The company itself publishes nothing, only prints and binds already published material. Intermountain describes its task as making the publishing task easier by tending to a client s printing needs. The company s comprehensive resources include many different sizes of paper; in-house binderies to saddle stitch or perfect bind products; and newsprint, ground wood, and 50# offset paper stocks. Intermountain Color was founded in 1970. What began as a single small web press in Boulder, Colo., grew into ten printing facilities in four states. Nine of these ten are plant locations: three in Colorado, two in Arizona, two in New Mexico and two in Mississippi.
