Gunnison County Electric Association Inc. (GCEA) is a non-profit rural electric cooperative established in September 1938. Based in Gunnison, Co., its service boundaries encompass portions of Gunnison, Hinsdale and Saguache counties. The firm serves the needs of over 10,000 customers on 1,030 miles of distribution line made up of around 473 miles of overhead line and 558 miles of underground cable.
