HistoryThe Spine Center is a part of Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group which was established by its founding fathers--George Merkert, MD; Robert Carlton, MD; and James O'Donnell, MD--in the mid-1950s. In 1994, the practice expanded and officially changed its name to Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group after merging three local orthopaedic practices.SpecialtiesAll of our Spine Center physicians are fellowship-trained and exclusively treat spine conditions.
