We are a classic American steak house located in Montrose Colorado, providing upscale dining to casual people. The Stone House opened the doors in December 2008 as a family owned restaurant and has been serving the local and tourist market proudly ever since. The Stone House restaurant today is a beautiful stone and wood building located on Highway 550 across from Walmart, but it started as an old ’50s style diner that looked like a metal trailer. Can't cook a rare steak to save their life. But the salads are good! Service somewhat to be desired. Waiter can't seem to get the checks to the right people. And atmosphere is okay nothing special.
