Established in 1996, Hyde-Woodstock offers academic classes to students in kindergarten through grade six. It s academic curriculum includes English, history, math, science, foreign languages and art, as well as electives. The school is comprised of more than 35 faculty members. Hyde-Woodstock operates a library that provides over 6,000 books, databases, encyclopedias, magazines, newspapers, online resources and reference materials on various topics to students. It also promotes the participation of students in performing arts, community service and athletics. With a location in Woodstock, Conn., the school is a part of Hyde Schools, which offers a variety of educational and extracurricular services and activities for students. Hyde Schools administers several sports and extracurricular activities, such as football, volleyball, golf, basketball, wrestling, cheerleading, softball, and track and field.
