Wayne H. Miller

Si Zhang, DO is a fellowship-trained anesthesiologist and pain medicine physician who cares for patients undergoing surgery and those who require pain management. He develops a safe plan for anesthesia when surgery is needed and helps patients who experience pain due to a chronic condition or those who suffer pain from cancer and other diseases. Dr. Zhang practices evidence-based techniques to manage pain including interventional procedures such as ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia. Dr. Zhang works with specialists to deliver comprehensive care plans focused on excellence in patient care. He provides compassionate care, helping patients experience less pain to improve the healing process. Dr. Zhang received his doctor of osteopathic medicine from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, went on to complete his anesthesiology residency at Tulane University School of Medicine and a fellowship in pain medicine at New York University School of Medicine.

Kristen Carter earned her master's degree in physician assistant studies from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She joined the Stamford Health cardiology department after practicing in New York City in various cardiac specialties for almost 10 years. She previously worked in the specialties of cardiothoracic surgery critical care and electrophysiology. She is passionate about preventative medicine and early diagnosis of heart disease for living a long, happy life. Kristen enjoys running for exercise as well as running after her two young kids. She is currently learning how to play Mahjong.

Dr. Carbonaro is a compassionate physician who is committed to providing up-to-date cardiovascular care to his patients. He has been involved in numerous clinical research projects focusing on the use of cardiac computed tomography and has published many peer-reviewed articles. He earned distinction as a Young Investigator Award Competition Finalist from the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography in 2009, and has received the James J. Leonard Award for excellence in teaching internal medicine. His clinical interests include the practice of both outpatient and inpatient general cardiology. He resides in Fairfield County with his wife and three children.
