The Newark Bike Project is a community-based organization in Newark, Delaware, dedicated to promoting cycling as a sustainable and accessible means of transportation. Since its inception in 2011, it has successfully supported over 4,000 individuals with bike repairs, recycled 6,000 bikes, and facilitated 8,000 volunteer visits. Offering various programs such as DIY repairs, a Free Bike Program, and community engagement events, the Newark Bike Project fosters a sense of empowerment and education through cycling.
