Young Woman's Christian Home was chartered by congress in 1887 to provide housing facility for women aged 18 through 34, newly arriving in the city to work or study. Thompson-Markward Hall (TMH), which houses them, was constructed in 1931. The Home offers various accommodation options, such as feature furnished single air-conditioned rooms with telephones and limited weekly housekeeping. Two multiunit baths are located on each floor. Residents may use a coin-operated laundry, television lounge, living room with fireplace, library, garden and sundeck. Round the clock front desk service and security lock system are also available.
