Established in 2002, we are a full-service, small animal veterinary clinic providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. We serve several neighborhoods, including Capitol Hill, H Street Corridor, Atlas District, the Navy Yard, and NOMA. Our staff veterinarians are Dr. Allison Gross, Dr. Melissa Lehmann, Dr. Carey Cornett, Dr. Annette Farrell, and Dr. Romina Cohen. Our clinic includes an in-house pharmacy and laboratory, state-of the-art surgery suite, digital x-ray unit and a closely supervised hospitalization area. When special procedures or diagnostics are required, we work closely with local referral practices and reference laboratories. It is our mission to provide your pet with top quality medical care, from routine wellness to illnesses or injuries. We are open seven days a week to meet your pet’s needs. We are committed to providing compassionate and up-to-date primary veterinary medical care to small animals. The creation of a doctor-patient-client triad is our goal. Here at Union we realize that not two pets are alike, and that disease processes can behave differently in every cat and dog. Based on this principle, we provide an individualized wellness and treatment plan for each patient. We at Union are also committed to the highest quality medical, dental and surgical care. This is reflected by the use of the most up to date diagnostic and therapeutic techniques. At Union Veterinary Clinic we strive to offer not only quality medical care for your pet, but sound advice and compassion for owners as well. Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she isn’t feeling well, but also to help you understand what your options are. We are also here to advise on how to keep your best friend happy and healthy.
