The Business Education Network focuses on promoting businesseducation partnerships. The network is made up of working groups that focus on business involvement in improving math and science and in advancing educators' knowledge and skills. Each working group is led by a chairperson who sets the working group's agenda. It organizes various meetings and online and telephone discussions. It focuses on a wide range of topics, such as student achievement, math and science education, educator development and partnership effectiveness. BEN operates through the United States of Commerce s, national network of more than 2,500 state and local chambers of commerce and education committees.
