The Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, operated by the non-profit Nashville Songwriters Foundation, is dedicated to honoring Nashville's rich songwriting legacy through preservation, celebration, and education. Since 1970, the hall has enshrined some of the greatest writers ever to put words to music in Music City, and in 2013, it opened its Hall of Fame Gallery in downtown Nashville, featuring interactive touch screens and displays of songwriting memorabilia. Surrounded by classic song titles and legendary names, the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame is located in the fabulous new Music City Center, directly across from Bridgestone Arena and the Country Music Hall of Fame.
