Goldenrod is a census-designated place (CDP) in Orange and Seminole counties in the U.S. state of Florida. The population was 12,871 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Orlando–Kissimmee Metropolitan Statistical Area.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 7.0 km² (2.7 mi²). 6.7 km² (2.6 mi²) of it is land and 0.3 km² (0.1 mi²) of it (4.78%) is water.
