Amalie Oil Company has earned the honor of being chosen the Official Motor Oil of the International Hot Rod Association since 1999. The company, founded in 1903 in Franklin, Pa., was one of the original 'Pennsylvania Crude' oil companies. In 1953, Amalie was the first oil company to introduce multi-grade motor oil: the Imperial 10W30. Through the years, Amalie has continued to innovate with synthetic oils, high-TBN fleet lubricants and specialty industrial oils. Amalie blends and packages nearly 200 different products in package sizes that range from 8-ounce plastic bottles to bulk rail transports. The company ships products to every state in America and to more than 70 foreign countries. In addition to the flagship Amalie product line, the company blends and packages private label products for the major oil companies, automotive retailers, programmed distribution groups, food and drug retailers and mass merchandisers.
