Canty Financial Management provides Personal Tax and Investment Advisory services. Most of your investment decisions have an impact on your taxes, so you will benefit at CFM because your "investment advisor" is also your "tax advisor". CFM is an independently-owned, client-centered firm, registered as an Investment Advisor with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. The firm began operations 25 years ago. We are a local firm and dedicated to serving our client base. We take part in the local community - for example, Junior Baseball and Basketball, the High School Band Ensemble, the PTA, the Rotary, and the Chamber of Commerce. For over a decade Canty Financial Management has composed a custom-made crossword puzzle that is published weekly in the Ballston Journal newspaper. We believe in providing customized service for our clients. Here is a brief description of our professional experience and qualifications. Bill is a CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER practitioner, and graduated with a BBA from Niagara University in 1985. He started Canty Financial Management in 1986 and obtained his CPA experience with the New York State Department of Taxation, State Comptroller, and State Education Department. Professional licenses include CPA, Health & Life Insurance, and NASD series 6, 7, 63, and 65. Certifications include the CFP practitioner. Bill is Past-Chairman of the Board for the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, and Past-President of the Ballston Spa Rotary.
