Caribtrans is a nonvessel operating common carrier, and has been serving the Caribbean Islands since 1985. It specializes in less than container load, full container load and airfreight consolidations. It offers air and ocean freight, intermodal movements, local and nationwide pick up services, crating and packaging, personal effects-barrel shipping, and container sales and shipping. The firm owns and operates a state-of-the-art Advanced Series IBM AS 400e computer system that enables customer service representatives to monitor shipments from the time they are received until the moment it is delivered at final destination. Its trucking network is connected with all the major trucking carries in the U.S. and Canada. Caribtrans is headquartered in Miami, and has cargo receiving terminals in California, Canada, Florida, Houston, New Orleans, New York and New Jersey. It operates a more than 50,000-square-foot warehouse with 30 dock height doors and over 11,000-square-feet of office space.
