Florida Musuem of Natural History offers a variety of exhibits, and organizes various school and community group tours. It has a hands-on exhibit that offers an array of authentic dinosaur eggs and nests collected from all over the world, including those of each of the major plant- and meat-eating dinosaur groups. It additionally features Butterfly Rainforest, a four-story, outdoor screened enclosure with waterfalls, a walking trail, live butterflies, and subtropical and tropical plants. The indoor exhibits feature a wall of wings that contains scanned and actual Lepidoptera specimens and information about butterfly and moth biology. Drawing upon the Florida Museum's internationally acclaimed fossil collections, its award winning exhibit, known as Florida Fossils: Evolution of Life & Land, describes more than 65 million years of Florida's history. Its waterways and wildlife exhibit features a hardwood hammock and life-sized limestone cave, and is patterned after the forest at Florida Caverns State Park.
