Cafe Nola

I won't complain --- 10/10 Have the sampler w/ rice and beans, crawfish étouffée, seafood gumbo. Fish sandwich all the way, shrimp po boy (half).

Went for lunch. We had to order at the bar and then seat yourself. Ordering took forever bc there was one person working the bar/ taking orders and another person bringing food out, cleaning...

Come for the show, stay for the beignets. Especially the beignets, perhaps the best we've had since Cafe de Monde a decade ago. The food: Florida fried or something your cardiovascular doctor...

I know that many people like, even Love this place but it's definitely not for me. Priced too high, no service and disappointing food. Again, some folks really like it so by all means check it...
